In the early 90's, Messrs Sleggs, Danzinger and Gill practiced law together in a small boutique law firm focusing on state and local tax issues with an emphasis on assisting Ohio taxpayers in their attempts to lower real estate tax obligations. In 1995, the three attorneys commenced separate careers, but each maintaining a focus on state and local taxation issues.
Mr. Sleggs commenced his private firm, Todd W. Sleggs & Associates, where he exclusively represented taxpayers in all of Ohio's eighty-eight counties. Since 1997, Mr. Danzinger was employed by a large Ohio law firm (Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn) becoming a partner and member of the firm's litigation and real estate sections. For more than ten years, Mr. Gill was employed by an international accounting firm (Ernst & Young) where he became the National Director of Property Tax Services for the firm's State and Local Tax Practice.
In 2005, Messrs Sleggs, Danzinger and Gill decided to combine their nearly 50 years of state and local tax experiences to form SD&G, a Cleveland law firm dedicated to assisting taxpayers locally, statewide and nationally.
